Under the current owner the fishery is undergoing a considerable upgrade to make it the most luxurious, comfortable and spectacular trout lake fishing venue to be found anywhere in Britain with a level of food, drink and care from our team that you and your guests will truly appreciate.
Our lodge, which overlooks the lakes, has all the facilities you would expect including comfortable sofas around an open fire, well stocked bar, tented dining room plus a veranda and fire pit. Our chef will be on hand to serve breakfast, lunch and tea, with menu choices and a selection of wines and beers.
Ultimate trout lake fly fishing experience
Our qualified fishing instructors will be able to help everyone from the most experienced to someone holding a fly rod for the first time. We cannot guarantee a fish for each person, but we usually get pretty close. We have top-of-the range Orvis fly outfits for you to use, plus a selection of recommended flies. Hats and sunglasses, the latter useful eye protection, are supplied. We hope it will not rain but just in case we have rainwear and wellingtons.
If that both excites you and gives pause for breath, you should know that Dever Springs is currently undergoing extensive improvements and refurbishment ahead of reopening in April 2025 when it will be the exclusive big trout water available only to private parties and groups. To be clear, to preserve the quality of the fish and offer the ultimate trout lake fly fishing experience with an unrivalled entertainment package, Dever Springs is no longer a day ticket fishery.
