Covid-19 Reopening Guidelines
Dever Springs Covid-19 Re Opening Guidelines
While our opening time remains at 08:00, this will now mean that the gates will be opened at 08:00, so that anglers are not gathered in the car park and around the buildings. This is as much for your own safety as it is for the staff that live and work on site. Please don’t park so as to block the gates; there is a pull off just before the fishery, and also a proper lay by just up the road.
Similarly, the closing time will be displayed at the fishery and you must be off site by this time, as the gates will be locked. Please adhere to this simple request so that the staff can clean and prepare for the next day.
There will be a one-way system in operation at the Lodge and you will be served through the office window. The Lodge is only open for the toilets (one person at a time) and please purchase any tackle or flies when you collect you ticket at the office window.
We are taking bookings with pre-payment only so please be ready to pay for your ticket with a card when you call or leave a phone number when you book by email so we can call you back.
Remain socially distant from each other and fishery staff – an absolute minimum of 2 meters. The Angling Trust is advising 15 meters when fishing. Do not gather in groups. Please use common sense!
The Gutting Shed will be CLOSED for the time being, until such time as it is deemed safe for social distancing to be lifted. Please do NOT gut your fish anywhere on the premises. The roll of polythene tubing will be there so you can bag your fish.
We will not be serving any breakfasts or sandwiches until further notice.
Please keep site movement to a minimum.
Wash your hands with soap and hot water.
If you or anyone else within your household have come in contact with or suspect you have Covid-19, please do not visit our fishery.
